University of Dayton to Launch Bachelor's Degrees in Sustainability

The University of Dayton board of trustees today approved bachelor of arts and bachelor of science degrees in sustainability, which students can start in August 2019. According to a 2017 report published by the Environmental Defense Fund and Climate Corps, the number of sustainability jobs has increased by about 1 million in the last six years.

National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis to Display Ferguson Voices Exhibit

A University of Dayton student exhibit of oral histories collected from people affected by and involved in the unrest in Ferguson, Missouri, after the killing of Michael Brown will be on display at the National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis, Tennessee, through Sept. 1. The fifth anniversary of Brown's death is Aug. 9.
